The Dash.fi mobile app: cards, receipts, approvals, wherever spend happens
Freeze a card from a taxi, photograph a receipt on the walk back from lunch, clear your approval queue while the coffee brews. The Dash.fi app for iPhone and Android covers the day-to-day actions that shouldn't wait for a laptop.
Company spend doesn't happen at a desk. It happens in restaurants, at checkout counters, in the back of rideshares, and the paperwork it creates has always waited politely until someone was back at a computer. That gap is where receipts get lost, where a compromised card stays live an hour longer than it should, and where an approver becomes the bottleneck for a teammate who just needs a card issued. The mobile app closes it.
Your cards, one swipe apart
Everything you'd walk back to a laptop for lives on the Cards tab: check a card's remaining limit, reveal its number for a checkout, freeze it the second something looks wrong, unfreeze it just as fast, or retire it for good. Revealing details takes a Face ID or Touch ID check first, and the numbers clear themselves after a minute.
You can request new cards from your phone too. Pick what the card is for, advertising, shipping, travel, software, and the spend controls come pre-filled, so a properly restricted card takes about as long to request as it does to name. Depending on your company's policy, it's issued on the spot or routed to an approver.
Receipts that file themselves
The Receipts tab is a dedicated inbox for receipt-first work. Snap a photo, pick files from your phone, or forward an emailed receipt to your personal @receipts.dash.fi address, and Dash.fi reads each one, pulls the merchant, amount, and date, and matches it to the right card transaction on its own.
Batches work too. Select up to 10 receipts at once and each row resolves independently, ending in a summary of what matched automatically, what needs a quick confirmation, and what found no transaction yet. The tab opens on the Unmatched filter by default, so anything that needs a human decision is one tap away and everything else stays out of your way.
Prefer to start from the transaction instead? The transaction-first flow is still there: open a charge from Activity, attach the receipt, add a memo and category, and submit. And if your company has auto-submit on, a complete expense sends itself.
Approvals from your pocket
The Inbox tab is your approval queue: card requests, expense submissions, bill payments, and vendor changes, everything that routes through your approval workflows. Open a request to see its full details, preview any attached receipt or invoice full-screen, and approve or decline from the same sheet.
When the queue has piled up, long-press to enter selection mode and decide up to 20 requests in one batch. If another approver beat you to one, it's simply skipped and noted, so there's nothing to retry. A second view shows the requests you submitted yourself and where each one stands.
Built for what a card app holds
A phone app that displays card numbers has to take that seriously, so this one does. Screens showing card details block screenshots and screen recordings on both platforms. On iOS, the app blurs itself in the app switcher so numbers never leak into a multitasking preview. Session replays used for support mask all text and images, and revealed details clear themselves after a minute. None of this is a setting, because none of it should be optional.
The app also updates itself over the air, so most improvements arrive without a trip to the App Store or Google Play. When one is ready, a banner offers a restart; dismiss it and the update simply applies the next time you fully close the app.
What stays on the web
The mobile app is a companion to the web dashboard, not a replacement for it. Account setup and the application checklist, approval policy configuration, accounting integrations, and company-level settings all live at app.dash.fi, where that kind of work belongs. The phone handles the moments; the web handles the machinery.
